Stained Capiz windows

Coloured light has long held special meaning for me, tying into my faith and the image of God appearing in a prism of colours, multifaceted and beautiful.

For this reason, stained glass is  one of favourite things in the world; the inside of the Sagrada Familia seems to me what heaven might look like. I have always wanted to live in a beautiful old house with stained glass windows.

But why wait for that dream to come true if I can make my own? Not with glass this time but using capiz shells inspired by my Philippine heritage. I loved the end result so much that I decided to make shell frames for others as well - check them out!
